1. Live updates

If you just class the January sales as a big Christmas hangover, then the Memorial Day sales are the first proper deals event of the year. That means this is your first opportunity to get some discounts on the tech you want, and not have to worry about the fact you've also got to spend some money on loved ones because everyone expects something for Christmas. Bah, humbug.

Time to be selfish and buy yourself something nice.

It's also a good precursor to the inevitable Amazon Prime Day(s) coming sometime in July this year. So, it's worth knowing this isn't the only time you'll have the chance to get some decent deals on quality hardware.

Now, I feel it's only fair to temper any potential enthusiasm you might have over getting the latest and greatest and phenomenal discounted prices, because if you're after a new graphics card, or the latest RTX 50-series laptop you're likely to be disappointed. But if you want some great peripherals, or a stunning OLED gaming monitor, then there are still plenty of opportunities for you to scratch that retail itch right here.

We'll be keeping our eyes open for new deals and waxing lyrical about our favorite PC gaming gear we find on sale right here. So keep refreshing this page to find out what our latest picks are.

1. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless | 50 mm drivers | 15-21,000 Hz | Closed-back | Wireless |$199.99$130 at Walmart (save $69.99)

1. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless | 50 mm drivers | 15-21,000 Hz | Closed-back | Wireless | we reviewed it the only major negative we could find was a slightly uninspiring microphone. Absolutely worth a serious look this one, at any level of discount.

Price check: Amazon $146.75 | Newegg $149.99

2. MSI Vector 16 HX AI | RTX 5080 | Core Ultra 9 275 HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240 Hz | 16 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $2,499.99 at Best Buy

2. MSI Vector 16 HX AI | RTX 5080 | Core Ultra 9 275 HX | 16-inch | 1600p | 240 Hz | 16 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $2,499.99 at Best Buy
I know, I know, it's a lot of cash. But the truth is, it's difficult to find RTX 50-series laptops for anything less than silly money right now, and this one's got the big boi RTX 5080 for a just about reasonable sum. Our Dave has been playing with this particular model recently and likes the value proposition you get when you take into that mega GPU, although it is a bit of a hairdryer on full whack. Still, stick it in Balanced mode and the noise is much more reasonable, and it still performs about as well as the other RTX 5080 machines we've tested. Which is to say, very well indeed.

Price check: Newegg $2,499.99 (backorder)

3. Acer Nitro ED270U | 27-inch | 1440p | 170 Hz | VA | $249.99$169.99 at Newegg (save $80)

3. Acer Nitro ED270U | 27-inch | 1440p | 170 Hz | VA | $249.99 $169.99 at Newegg (save $80)
This is a respectable brand and a respectable spec, although it might be worth holding out for an IPS . Still, a good price on a great little screen and more than enough for a mid-range rig to get some lovely sights.

Price check: Walmart $179.99

4. Yeyian Yumi | Core i5 12400F | RTX 4060 | 16 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD |$849.99 at Newegg

4. Yeyian Yumi | Core i5 12400F | RTX 4060 | 16 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $849.99 at Newegg
If you can't stretch to an RTX 4060 Ti build, an RTX 4060 one such as this Yeyian rig should serve you well in a pinch as an entry-level gaming PC. You're getting DDR5 RAM, a decent entry-level Core i5, and a GPU that should handle most games at 1440p with some frame gen and upscaling magic enabled.

5. Lenovo Legion Go | Z1 Extreme | 8.8-inch screen | 16 GB RAM | 512 GB SSD | $699.99 $576.71 at Amazon

5. Lenovo Legion Go | Z1 Extreme | 8.8-inch screen | 16 GB RAM | 512 GB SSD | $699.99 $576.71 at Amazon
The Legion Go is one of the more polished handhelds on the market, with a sleek 8.8-inch screen and detachable controllers. That screen is a little overkill for the lil' AMD chip inside this machine, the Z1 Extreme also found in the ROG Ally, but it's great for playing indies on while relaxing. One of the controllers also becomes a mouse if you need it, which is a bit of a gimmick but works pretty well. The main downside here is the small SSD, but it's a pretty easy upgrade later on.

Price check: Best Buy $599.99 | Newegg $699

6. Lexar NM790 | 1 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,400 MB/s read | 6,500 MB/s write | $99.99 $85.45 at Amazon (save $14.54)

6. Lexar NM790 | 1 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 7,400 MB/s read | 6,500 MB/s write | $99.99 $85.45 at Amazon (save $14.54)
For anyone looking for a cheap, spacious drive offering serious performance, this is a genuinely brilliant SSD for the money. Our review of the 4 TB version clearly shows just how good it is.

7. HP Victus 16 | RTX 4070 | Ryzen 7 8845HS | 16-inch | 1080p | 144 Hz | 16 GB DDR5 | 512 GB SSD | $1,119 at Amazon

7. HP Victus 16 | RTX 4070 | Ryzen 7 8845HS | 16-inch | 1080p | 144 Hz | 16 GB DDR5 | 512 GB SSD | $1,119 at Amazon
You know what I hate? Gaming laptops with just 512 GB SSDs. A 1 TB SSD is not an expensive thing, so why do manufacturers still persist with so little storage? Thankfully, laptops like this HP Victus with a paucity of SSD space also come with a second SSD slot in the back. That makes it a super-easy upgrade when you run out of space, without having to replace your OS or anything. Likewise, the Victus 16 uses standard SODIMM for memory so you can upgrade the 16 GB RAM down the line, too. The 120 W RTX 4070 is one you won't have to rush out and upgrade, however, as it's a quality GPU at this price, and so is that AMD processor, too. In fact, it comes with the 780M integrated graphics that run most handhelds, so you can get some good gaming battery life by switching off the Nvidia GPU when you're away from the plug.

8. MSI MAG 341CQP | 34-inch | 3440 x 1440 | 175 Hz | QD-OLED | Curved | $779.99 $699.99 at Newegg (save $80)

8. MSI MAG 341CQP | 34-inch | 3440 x 1440 | 175 Hz | QD-OLED | Curved | $779.99 $699.99 at Newegg (save $80)
OLED gaming still isn't as affordable as we'd like. But it's getting there. This 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED beast is still a good deal at this price, however. The 175 Hz refresh is a tiny bit pedestrian, but it's plenty fast enough for us and in all other regards, this is the full OLED experience, including 0.03 ms response and serious HDR sizzle.

9. Silicon Power UD90 | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 4,800 MB/s write | $119.97 $94.97 at B&H Photo (save $23)

9. Silicon Power UD90 | 2 TB | NVMe | PCIe 4.0 | 5,000 MB/s read | 4,800 MB/s write | $119.97 $94.97 at B&H Photo (save $23)
You might not know Silicon Power from Samsung, but this SSD is well-received by our friends at Tom's Hardware. It offers plenty of speed for a Steam library expansion but with a meager cost per gigabyte of just four cents. It's not the fastest SSD out there, though.

Price check: Newegg $94.97 | Amazon $105.97

10. iBuyPower Slate 9 Black | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RX 9070 XT | 32 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $2,199.99 $1,799.99 at Newegg (save $400)

10. iBuyPower Slate 9 Black | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RX 9070 XT | 32 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $2,199.99 $1,799.99 at Newegg (save $400)
iBuyPower has its own deals going down for Memorial Day, but there aren't any RX 9070 XT machines on its own site to rival the rig on sale at Newegg right now. This is a mighty all-AMD gaming PC, rocking last generation's outright best gaming U alongside one of the best mid-range GPUs of the current crop. Not only that, but you're also getting a healthy amount of DDR5 memory, and a just-about-good-enough amount of SSD storage space.

The Logitech G305, Turtle Beach Burst II Air and Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed gaming mice on a teal deals background

(Image credit: Logitech, Turtle Beach, Razer)

The way I just gasped...

I've been sat here, spamming you with snazzy deals for the better part of the day, and I haven't mentioned a single gaming mouse or keyboard. Come on, Monica. Do better.

The happy news is that retailers aren't as forgetful as I am. We've got a whole army of squeakers ready to be picked up, and some nice keyboards to match.

ittedly, I really hoped that my own hardware would be on sale during this Memorial Day, simply because I love showing off my pink Razer keeb. But, alas, it's not discounted anywhere. No matter—plenty of other options out there.

I've gone through more keyboards and mice than I care to mention, so here are a few that I know are superb.

Memorial day gaming mice deals

Logitech G502X | Wired | Up to 25,600 DPI | 400 IPS | 89 g |
$99.99 $52 at Walmart (save $47.99)
This is our favorite wired gaming mouse right now, and comes in at a very affordable price tag over these sales periods. It's rocking the mighty Logitech Hero 25K optical sensor, which is a super accurate, precise bit of squeaker tech. The look of the thing is iconic, and the design makes it a seriously comfortable... though only for right-handers. It's also a pretty lightweight mouse, too, though does come with additional weights if you want a more solid feel.

EVGA X12 | Wired | Up to 16,000 DPI | 400 IPS | $29.99 $9.99 at Newegg (save $20)

Excuse me? A mouse for $10 that's actually decent? Well, now I've seen it all. This EVGA mouse has eight buttons, five profiles, and a price in the single digits. It's wired, and that's my only gripe with it, but you can't really get a good wireless mouse under $10 without some serious retail discount magic.

Price watch: NEW DEAL!Logitech G Pro Wireless | 45 Hrs | Up to 25,600 DPI | 400 IPS | 80 g | $129 $69 at Walmart (save $60)

Logitech G Pro Wireless | 45 Hrs | Up to 25,600 DPI | 400 IPS | 80 g |
$129 $69 at Walmart (save $60)
If you're after a wireless gaming mouse that's been shown to be up for anything, look no further than the G Pro Wireless. It's an oldie now, and no longer Logitech's lightest mouse, but it's still pretty lightweight, and comes with plenty of extras you don't get on the newer Superlight models, such as being fully ambidextrous.

Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed | Wireless | 26,000 DPI | 5/8 buttons | 100-hour battery | Right-handed |
best wireless gaming mouse you can buy today. It's super-fast and that sensor is impressively accurate, too, and that Deathadder design is seriously comfortable, too. I hope you'll forgive me for the measly discount and take this as a good mouse recommendation if you need one.

Roccat Magma | Wired | Membrane | 100% |
$49.99 $42.95 at Amazon (save $7.49)
Look, I get it, not everyone loves the clickety clack or satisfying thock of a mechanical keyboard, and we won't judge here. And you can get yourself our pick as the best membrane keyboard for a decent price right now. It's softer, quieter, but still suprisingly tactile for a membrane switch board.

Price check: Newegg $78.95 | Walmart $59.95

This is another favorite product of ours, in fact, we think it's the best budget rapid trigger gaming keyboard you can buy right now. Even aside from the Hall effect switches and rapid trigger capabilities, this is a lovely board to type on in general, with an excellent wireless battery life, too.

Price check: Amazon $139.99

best gaming keyboard right now thanks to its stellar sound dampening and key feel. It's small and features hot-swappable switches, and these are two features that many PC gamers want these days.

Razer Ornata V3 | Wired | TKL | Low-profile keys | Mecha-membrane switches | $79.99 $49.99 at Amazon (save $30)

So this is a keyboard that's kind of neither here nor there, and personally, I actually liked that about it. Mecha-membrane switches feel clicky enough, but are still not on the same level as a full-on mechanical keyboard, so it's a good way to ease into it. The Razer Ornata V3 is low-profile, soft, and not too loud. It's also massively discounted right now, so if you're not ready to try out a mechanical keyboard, this is a good first step.

D'you know what it's time for? Some random PC building goodies. I feel like they're not getting a lot of love elsewhere this Memorial Day, and I'm not sure why.

There are plenty of deals, so if you're in the process of building a new PC or upgrading your existing rig, you might as well save some money for something else. (Let's be real, those savings are just gonna go right back into your PC in the form of a better graphics card.)

If you're anything like me, you probably spend way too much time glued to your PC. That means sitting in your chair (unless you have a standing desk) for hours on end.

Having a proper chair becomes more important than ever if you're in that chair very often. And even if you're not, let's face it, no one likes, uh... I'm trying to find a polite way to say this. No one likes random pains and aches, let's leave it there.

Well, good news: Memorial Day turns out to be a swell time to shop for a new gaming chair and/or desk. Secretlab's got a fantastic deal on the best gaming desk (according to our reviews), so check it out before that sweet, sweet furniture is all sold out.

Secretlab Titan Evo | $549$499 at Secretlab (save $50)

Secretlab Titan Evo | $549 $499 at Secretlab (save $50)
The Secretlab Titan Evo is comfortably the comfiest gaming chair we've ever used. It not only feels great but looks the part and is super sturdy at the same time. The 2022 model got a markup from the previous one, but at $50 off, it's a mighty fine package, and one you won't beat soon.

Secretlab Magnus Pro | $888 $799 at Secretlab

Secretlab Magnus Pro | Magnus Pro XL we reviewed, but otherwise they are essentially the same quality desk. Though still pricey, Secretlab's Magnus Pro range is, as we put it in our review, "simply the ultimate desk for gaming and working from home". It's impeccably designed, super sturdy, and its capable management system is elegant.

Samsung memorial deals

Whether you're on a laptop or on a desktop, chances are you might want (or need, if it's the latter) a monitor. Good thing, too, because aside from kitchen appliances and party supplies, Memorial Day actually serves up a respectable number of monitor deals. Who would've thought?

You might be like me and need, at minimum, two monitors to survive. Or you could be just fine with a single display, which, good for you, and I'm jealous. Or perhaps a shiny, massive ultrawide is more your thing? In any case, Memorial Day deals have delivered.

Alright, this one is perhaps a tad big and expensive for a 1080p monitor, but the 32-inch curved screen offers quite a lot that none of our other choices do. If you are looking for a relatively budget-friendly entry point into curved monitors, this is a good way to do it at over $40 off its MSRP.

34-inch ultrawide 1440p gaming remains one of our firm favourites. It's a great compromise between lots of detail and decent frame rates. This Samsung gives you all that with 3,440 by 1,440 pixels, 165 Hz refresh, and 1 ms response. It's not the brightest at 250 nits. But if you can live with that, it's an awful lot of monitor for the money.

You know all those buzzwords marketing gurus like to throw around to sell you on a product? "Immersive." "Stunning." "Gorgeous."

Well, I'm not going to use those exact words, but I will tell you that gaming on a 49-inch curved ultrawide is something else. This monitor scored a whopping 90% in our review for a reason, and at nearly half the price, it's too good a deal to up on right now.

Nintendo Switch 2, who needs you. Let's all grab a gaming handheld instead.

Although I've tested many gaming handhelds and even temporarily nicked one off a friend (it's back in safe hands now, though), I don't actually own one. I'm usually the type to just plant myself in front of the PC, and there I stay for too many hours to it to.

That might change soon, because these Memorial Day deals are starting to get to me.

Our favorite handheld gaming PC, the best gaming handhelds, so check it out. It's actually cheaper than it was yesterday, which is a shocker.

The Acer Nitro 60 desktop gaming PC floating over a turquoise background.

Hello? Anyone still there?

Phew. I was worried those RTX 5090-powered PCs might have scared you off. Good thing you stayed, though, because I'm back with a much more reasonable alternative.

In my hunt for Memorial Day deals, I spotted this Acer Nitro 60 gaming PC on sale at Newegg. Much less out-of-this-world kind of specs than those RTX 5090 beasts I showed you earlier, but this is the kind of PC I'd recommend to a friend on a tighter budget. You're paying well under $1,000 and still getting your game on - that's a win in my book.

Plus, this PC gets you Intel's free spring bundle for free, meaning you'll get Civilization VII and Dying Light: The Beast when you shop. (Act fast, though, because supplies won't last forever).

The Acer Nitro 60 gaming desktop is now $929.99, down from $1,199.99, at Newegg (save $270), so snag it while you can.

Acer Nitro 60 | Intel Core i5-14400F | RTX 4060 | 16 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $1,199.99 $929.99 at Newegg (save $270)

Acer Nitro 60 | Intel Core i5-14400F | RTX 4060 | 16 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $1,199.99 $929.99 at Newegg (save $270)

I like me a good desktop PC under $1,000, and Acer is a brand that I know to be safe to recommend. This is the easiest way to get a plug-and-play kind of experience out of your gaming PC. With Windows 11 already included, all you need to do is power this one up, install some drivers, and start gaming without absolutely smashing the bank.

So, we've been here for a while... Time to pull out the big guns.

At the risk of scaring you off—and I really, really don't want to scare you off—I'm going to show you a couple of options if you want a PC or a laptop with the best hardware available.

You know, like the RTX 5080 if you're willing to settle.

Gaming-wise, this is as good as it gets. You'll have frame rates for days, and your PC won't even flinch if you try to run Cyberpunk 2077 on RT Overdrive. (Who am I kidding, it'll still flinch a little, but it'll manage.)

Money-wise? Uh, about that...

This is one pricey laptop, but with $520 in savings, I'll take it. It comes with Intel's Core Ultra 9 275HX U, 32 GB of RAM, a spacious 2 TB SSD, and, of course—drumroll, please—Nvidia's RTX 5080 GPU. With a sweet 240Hz refresh rate and a compact-but-not-too-small 16-inch display, this is a gaming laptop that'll breeze through almost anything.

While the PC hardware market isn't in the best shape of our lives (understatement of the century right there), it's still kickin'.

There are still good deals to be had as long as you steer clear of graphics cards. Which, again, as much as I love them, please do steer clear (and if you're desperate, I have a few deals for you down below, so keep on scrolling).

The idea is to avoid the big-ticket components while they're super pricey and instead, give your PC a little boost through targeted upgrades. My favorite picks right now during Memorial Day sales are SSDs and RAM upgrades, so I'll give you a few options to choose from.

Do I need more RAM? No. Am I going to buy some? ...Yup.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset floats with its fully retractable mic arm extended, in the teal-gradient PC G deal void.

Fun fact: I've spent the better part of my life playing various MMOs. That means interacting with people, which is both a blessing and a curse. Those years spent on Ventrilo, TeamSpeak, Skype, and now Discord (can you guess my age?) made me massively appreciate a good gaming headset.

Between the echoing, microphones so bad you can barely understand what people are saying, Darth Vader-style breathing, and other various background noise, some people are better off just never speaking. Ever. Especially during important boss fights.

Don't be one of those people. Grab a gaming headset that's actually decent and make your gaming buddies happy. You can have them send me a thank you note once you're done picking from this list of headsets below.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Headset | PlayStation Version (PC compatible) | 40 mm drivers | Fully retractable mic arm | Active Noise Cancellation | 10–40,000 Hz | 30 hr battery | $349.99 $294.99 at Amazon

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Headset | PlayStation Version (PC compatible) | 40 mm drivers | Fully retractable mic arm | Active Noise Cancellation | 10–40,000 Hz | 30 hr battery | best wireless gaming headsets around. It may not come with the most amazing mic, but the Sonar feature in the GG software does a fantastic job of fixing the fuzziness.

1. HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless | 50 mm drivers | 15-21,000 Hz | Closed-back | Wireless | we reviewed it the only major negative we could find was a slightly uninspiring microphone. Absolutely worth a serious look this one, at any level of discount.

Turtle Beach Stealth 500 | Wireless | 30/40-hour battery life | 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.2 | $79.99 $62 at Amazon (save $16.99)
If you're in need of a budget wireless gaming headset, it's hard to say no to the Stealth 500, with a new and comfortable headband, solid connectivity, a quick charge, and nice on-ear controls. It takes a hit in some areas (like build quality and bass) to get to that price point. For 20% off, it's a bit of a steal.

Audeze Maxwell | B-Stock | 10 Hz - 50,000 Hz | Wireless | 80 hr battery | $299 $229 at Audeze (save $70)

Audeze Maxwell | B-Stock | 10 Hz - 50,000 Hz | Wireless | 80 hr battery | $299 $229 at Audeze (save $70)
There's no getting away from it, $229 is still an awful lot of money to spend on a PC gaming headset, but the Maxwell delivers audiophile planar magnetic drivers, and that means you're getting wireless sound that standard PC gaming headsets cannot match. The tonal separation and detail in the Maxwell is second to none and they've never been more affordable. 'Cos yeah, I'm not going to say 'cheap', though compared with other planar magnetic headphones they kinda are.

iBuyPower Slate 9 Black | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RX 9070 XT | 32 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $2,199.99 $1,799.99 at Newegg (save $400)

iBuyPower Slate 9 Black | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RX 9070 XT | 32 GB DDR5 | 1 TB SSD | $2,199.99 $1,799.99 at Newegg (save $400)
iBuyPower has its own deals going down for Memorial Day, but there aren't any RX 9070 XT machines on its own site to rival the rig on sale at Newegg right now. This is a mighty all-AMD gaming PC, rocking last generation's outright best gaming U alongside one of the best mid-range GPUs of the current crop. Not only that, but you're also getting a healthy amount of DDR5 memory, and a just-about-good-enough amount of SSD storage space.

You know how I said that the GPU market could be doing better right now? (Putting it mildly here.) Well, one of the best workarounds is buying a pre-built PC instead of building your own rig. And trust me, it takes a lot for me to say that, because I'm a PC builder through and through.

When bought on its own, the RX 9070 XT—while excellent—is wildly overpriced right now. The $600 price tag it was supposed to come with is a pipe dream. But, you could always save yourself the hassle and just get a solid PC that comes with AMD's best graphics card already installed.

This brings me to the iBUYPOWER Slate 9 PC, now just $1,799 instead of $2,199 at Newegg.

This PC has just about everything you could ask for (in that price range, anyway). It has the best gaming Us), it has the RX 9070 XT, and it has 32 GB of RAM, so you can indulge in your gaming/Discord/Netflix/YouTube/etc. combo without running out of memory. It's a good deal, so snag it while it's still here.

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm obsessed with GPUs. If there ever comes a day when I'm not talking (or more often, complaining) about the GPU market, send out a search party. No, I'm not joking.

With GTA 6 is still a whole year away.

The reality is quite different, as you'll find. It's dry out there, so dry that I actually just spotted an RX 580 being listed on sale, and that thing is 8 years old.

While my recommendation is generally to wait it out and focus on other PC upgrades you can do (which I'll also share with you throughout the day), here are a few GPUs that are actually discounted during Memorial Day sales.

The RX 9070 is one of AMD's better GPUs for many years and not that much slower than the XT version. Unfortunately, it's not being sold at anything like a sensible price because stocks are extremely low—this is almost $200 over AMD's MSRP.

Zotac RTX 5070 | 12 GB GDDR7 | 6144 CUDA cores | 2452 MHz boost | $699 $629 at Newegg (save $70)

Nvidia's RTX 5070 was meant to sell at a $549 MSRP, which, strangely enough, makes this $629 GPU a decent deal. This one is better equipped to handle VRAM-hungry games, what with the 12 GB of video memory, and Multi Frame Gen gives it some extra oomph in the games that call for it. In our review of the RTX 5070 Founders Edition, we liked the 1440p performance, but we just didn't like the price.

Onyx Odyssey Arc B580 | 12 GB GDDR6 | 20 Xe cores | 2670 MHz | $319 $299 at Newegg

Here's a more budget-friendly option for all the gamers out there, and only $50 above MSRP. (I hate myself for saying that, but this is the world we live in right now.)

At launch, the Intel Arc B580 was praised far and wide for its performance per dollar. We loved the 12 GB VRAM, which is more than Nvidia's recent RTX 5060 can offer. The drivers were a little iffy at launch, which is a shame, but generally, this is a GPU that punches above its weight class.

Good morning! It's officially Memorial Day, and that means discounts as far as the eye can see.

I spent the last couple of days sifting through piles of discounted PC gaming hardware (well, not literally, as I was still just sitting here right at my PC. But in my mind, there was a whole lot of sifting going on.)

The good news is that there's a lot to sink your teeth into. The bad news? Your wallet might hate you for it, but it'll hate you less than if you shopped a day or two from now, so that counts as good news in my book, really.

We all deserve a treat now and then, and now's the perfect time to just go for it and give your gaming setup a refresh.

MSI Cyborg 15 gaming laptop on a white desk

I'm going to start you off easy with a sweet discount on a gaming laptop with the RTX 4060. The MSI Cyborg 14-inch laptop is now $799, down from $1,099, at Best Buy.

It's not the latest Nvidia has to offer in of hardware, but it doesn't always need to be. This portable little beast will still run the latest games, and if you need more frame rates, you can always turn to those "fake frames" that many a PC gamer have been ranting about recently.

MSI Cyborg 14-inch gaming laptop: was $1,099 now $799 at Best Buy

The MSI Cyborg 14-inch serves up solid refresh rates, a popular discrete GPU, and an Intel U. You might run low on storage here as that's only sitting at 512GB, but that's nothing one of the best external SSDs can't fix. You can also find this one on Amazon if that's your preferred place to shop, but it's pricier and not on discount, selling for $1,099.

Specs: 14-inch 1920 x 1200 144Hz display, Intel Core i7-13620H U, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

Stay tuned throughout Memorial Day, as I'm going to be highlighting all the best PC gaming deals I can find across all the major retailers. Whether that's new laptops and PCs, or gaming monitors and peripherals, I'll find them.

But probably no graphics cards. I mean, be realistic, there aren't going to be any good deals on a new pixel pusher.
